The role of fiscal policies in the transition to an inclusive green economy and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals is increasingly recognised and momentum for action is growing among governments and the private sector.
This session will examine how fiscal policies through pricing measures, can mobilize public resources and incentivise private investment to support the Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Climate Agreement.
It will also examine issues around the efficient and equitable allocation of public and private finance for delivering the Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement.
