Denis S. Lowe
Dr. Denis S. Lowe is a Barbadian, the son of Mrs. Sylvia Pearlene Lowe-Springer and Mr. Lemuel Greene. He is a registered Clinical Psychologist whose formal training includes a
Diploma (Theology) Caribbean Wesleyan College, a B.A degree
(Psychology) from God’s Bible College, Cincinnati, Ohio, a Masters Degree, ( Developmental Psychology) University of Cincinnati, 1985, and a Doctorate Degree (Psychology and Human Growth and Development) University of Cincinnati, 1989. He taught at the University of Cincinnati and later at Wilberforce University where he was also Head of Counseling services and Senior Assistant to the President of the University.
Dr. Lowe returned to Barbados in 1997 after spending sixteen years in the United States of America. Upon his return home he embarked on a professional career as a Clinical Psychologist and a Consultant. He established his private practice, as well as worked with large and medium size companies in Barbados and across the Caribbean. He is known across the region and parts of North America for his dynamic training and motivational work.
Dr. Denis S. Lowe also served as the Training Consultant for CIBC Caribbean Ltd., now First Caribbean Bank, and Digicel Barbados Ltd. He made significant contributions to the development of the employees of both institutions. He also developed learning systems at both institutions.
He also served as a local Pastor in the Wesleyan Holiness Church both in Barbados and Hillsboro, Ohio, USA. Dr. Lowe spent most of his young adult years working in the church as a youth leader, musician and Pastor. These experiences certainly helped to prepare him for a life of service to humanity. He truly believes in reaching out to individuals of all walks of life. As such, he has been working with organizations to provide training and other human upliftment services to assist individuals in their journey to a higher level of living.
Dr. Denis S. Lowe is also very involved in the national politics of his Country-Barbados. He has served as a Senator in the Upper Chambers of Parliament. He was elected to the Parliament of Barbados as the Parliamentary Representative for the Constituents of Christ Church East in January of 2008. He was selected by the Prime Minister to serve in the Cabinet as a Minister of the Crown. He is a shining example of a servant of humanity and has thus dedicated his life to one of service to God, Country and humanity.
