Kimmo Tiilikainen (born in 1966) has been the Minister of Agriculture and Environment of Finland since 2015 and was the Minister of Environment between 2007 and 2008.
He has been a Member of the Finnish Parliament in the Finnish Centre Party since 2003, and a member of the Ruokolahti Local Council since 2001.
Mr Tiilikainen has also served on numerous committees, including the Agriculture and Forestry Committee from 2003 to 2007, the Environment Committee from 2007 to 2015 and the Commerce Committee from 2007 to 2009. He was also Chair for the Council of Natural Resources.
Mr Tiilikainen holds a Master of Science in Agriculture and Forestry, which he attained from the University of Joensuu in 1991, and speaks Finnish, English and Swedish.
